I am Miguel Ángel Beltrán
I am a video and film editor and post-production specialist.
I love cinema and everything related to the audiovisual world.
My experience has led me to work in all areas of Post-production, with a particular focus on Editing, Sound, and Visual Effects.
Currently, I work as an Assistant Editor on feature films and TV series.
My goal is to accumulate experience so that I can be more efficient in my work and coordinate my efforts with those of other professionals in the industry.
About me
I was born in Barcelona in 2001. For as long as I can remember, I've always had my eyes on a film.
During my teenage years, I discovered video editing and instantly knew that this would be the profession that resonated most with me and in which I could best employ my skills.
No place makes me feel more at home than the editing room and all the processes that surround it.
I began my journey by enrolling in the Cinematography degree program specializing in editing, post-production, and sound at the Bande à Part Film School. During my studies, I worked on numerous student and semi-professional short films, performing every post-production role and gaining extensive experience as a sound recordist on set.
Since then, I've always made sure to keep my hands busy learning new skills and gaining experience in the industry. To this day, I've completed several additional courses ranging from VFX to Post-Production Supervision.
I currently work as an assistant editor on feature films and fiction series, occasionally participating in short films as an editor, VFX and DIT.

Bande à Part Film School
Bachelor's degree in Cinematography specializing in Editing, Post-Production, and Sound. During my studies, I participated in all aspects of the film industry, from film history to the actual shooting of short films. I worked on numerous shoots as a Sound Recordist and VFX Supervisor. In post-production, I gained extensive experience in Editing, Sound Editing, Mixing, Color Grading, and Visual Effects.

CIFO Hospitalet
I am certified to possess the necessary skills to use Nuke X in the field of digital compositing and VFX. During my training, I learned how to use the program professionally.

I am certified to possess the necessary skills to practice digital matte painting. During my training, I created several digital composition pieces using various visual effects programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Cinema 4D.

I am certified as having the knowledge to perform the duties of a Post-Production Supervisor. This training was complemented by my prior knowledge of the industry and each of its facets, providing me with the administrative skills to ensure that each department operates efficiently and professionally.

I completed the Master's program in Film Editing at ECIB, where I gained extensive experience with tools like Avid Media Composer and developed practical skills in film editing and assistant editing. I also took classes in Editing Theory, Film History, and Advertising.
